​Alexander is a senior London solicitor with over 15 years of practical experience, authorised by the SRA to provide the full range of reserved legal activities.  His growing litigation, arbitration, and advisory practice is built upon exceptional client service and the ability to deliver efficient and effective solutions across a range of sectors.

Alexander is experienced in resolving general commercial disputes; handling all types shipping disputes including bill of lading and charterparty claims, damage to infrastructure claims, damage to hull claims, unsafe port claims, pollution claims, wreck removals, and collisions with fishing vessels; conducting internal and external corporate investigations; and representing clients facing investigation by state authorities.​​​​

Alexander conducts litigation in the Admiralty Court and Commercial Court, and he is authorised to conduct litigation up to the UK Supreme Court.  He has been involved in numerous London arbitrations and is a supporting member of the London Maritime Arbitrators Association (LMAA).

​Alexander was called to the Bar at Gray's Inn and then trained with a Silver Circle law firm in the City before establishing his own independent practice.

Alexander practises on an independent, self-employed basis, much like the 17,000 barristers in chambers across England and Wales.  Instead of employing a fixed staff, Alexander frequently assembles a hand-picked team of London barristers at the outset of a matter; this gives him the flexibility to provide clients with the exact expertise required in each case.
